On September 26, members of the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB) met with our students to learn how they feel about the MUP program. This visit is but one of many steps that will determine the department’s accreditation for the next seven years. Overall, students found the department’s program to be positively adequate in preparing them for the profession after graduation, according to student feedback survey sent out by the UPC last month.

“I think the positive survey results reflect the many improvements made by the department over the last several years,” says Johnasies McGraw, UPC President after submitting a report to the PAB on behalf of students. The PAB was particularly impressed with the students’ diversity and active involvement in the community and the department’s relationship with the City and community through CommUniverCity.

Updates on the PAB’s visit and the final outcome will be posted on the UPC’s website and facebook. If you have any questions about this visit and the board review, feel free to contact UPC at admin@theUPC.org.
