I am excited to be the incoming ULI Liaison. I look forward to helping connect our MUP students to the resources available through ULI membership and to inform students of upcoming ULI events.
Originally from upstate New York, I attended college in the Finger Lakes at William Smith College, majoring in architecture. My junior year I studied in Copenhagen, where I first became interested in urban design, attending classes taught by Gehl Architects. As part of my graduate coursework, I am currently pursuing specializations in community development and planning, urban design, and applications of technology in planning.
I am currently the Urban Design Knowledge Manager at Perkins+Will. My professional experience includes over twelve years designing master planned communities, conservation- based projects, resort design, and planning projects throughout diverse geographical locations including: Korea, China, Manila, Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Hawaii, California, Washington, Utah, Texas, and North Carolina. My design assignments include varied tasks spanning several disciplines such as design of master planned communities, grading and landscape master plans, conceptual high-rise towers, hydrological assessments, design guidelines and community visioning. I have previously worked for Hart Howerton, VITA Planning and Landscape Architecture, CSW Stuber-Stroeh Engineering Group, and Dahlin Group. Additionally, I ran my own design consulting business for three years.
