Jason is a graduate student at San Jose State's Masters in Urban Planning Program. Hailing from Los Angeles, he achieved his undergraduate degree in Business Economics and Sociology at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to his enrollment into the SJSU MUP program, he gained considerable experience in communications, volunteer coordination, student affairs, and older adult public health issues.
His interest is in urban design and economic and community development, with strong interest to international urban planning trends, urban informality, in-fill development, and socially-equitable and sustainable development. Currently, he is interning with the Greenbelt Alliance and assisting with the Committee for Green Foothills. He enjoys photography, drawing, writing, social media, web design, traveling, and volunteering.
